I'm a Certified Fraud Examiner
(CFE) and an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) with more than 30 years experience in international and domestic fraud
investigations, management, vulnerability assessment, financial controls,
computer investigations, and professional training.
I retired from federal service from the Department of Interior (DOI),
where I was the Special Agent-in-Charge of the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
I previously worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
OIG where I held an appointment in the Foreign Service of the United States.
I have conducted a broad range of criminal, civil, and administrative
investigations in more than 60 countries. I also Interacted with senior
public and private sector officials at the highest executive levels.
I currently serve as the managing partner of
U.S. Data Forensics, LLC, a
company providing litigation support and expert witness services to law
firms in Computer Forensics.
I have conducted numerous forensic examinations of computer systems and have
testified as an expert witness. I routinely give presentations on computer
forensics and digital evidence to law firms, bar associations, and other
interested organizations. I also teach
Computer Forensics and
Incident Response courses for The Learning Tree International. Given my
background, I have appeared as a guest on a number of radio and TV shows.
